Meet the Therapist
Hi, I’m Katie — your easy to talk to therapist for very real life stuff. I work with teens and adults and specialize in Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Trauma and those navigating chronic illnesses. If you’ve ever thought, “I don’t need therapy… my body just needs to stop reacting to every single memory and experience I have,” — we’ll probably get along. My clients often tell me they open up with me about things they’ve never said out loud (even to their pets). I’m warm, nonjudgmental, and I fully support laughing and crying during the same session — that’s called range! I am a mom of two, and love helping other moms.
I am collaborative and human — no robotic therapist nodding. I’m engaged, I ask thoughtful questions, and I’ll give you skills and insight you can actually use outside of sessions. We’ll explore patterns, build coping tools, laugh when it helps, and hold space when it hurts. We offer horse therapy or art therapy if you prefer a different approach.
In our first session, expect warmth, curiosity, and zero judgment. I’ll ask what’s been heavy, what you’d like to feel instead, and what support looks like for you. We’ll go at your pace—no pressure. A bit about me: I’m Lebanese and Irish, from Buffalo, New York (Go Bills!), love my horses, ghost stories, crafting, and my three cats. Come as you are.
